About

Built quietly, for the long-term.

Inktally exists because most people, when they sit down to think about it, can list five or six things their loved ones would desperately need if they weren’t around — and have no idea where to put any of them.

A password manager keeps your logins safe but doesn’t know what to do with them when you’re not there. A lawyer’s drawer is secure but slow. A spreadsheet on Google Drive is fast but terrifying to think about.

We wanted one calm place that handled both halves: end-to-end encrypted, so we can’t read it; and deliberately structured, so it can leave us in a way you’ve actually chosen — at a date, on a missed check-in, or when you say so.

That’s it. That’s the entire pitch. We don’t plan to grow into a chat app, a backup service, or a family tree. We plan to be the place where this one thing happens, and to be around long enough to matter.

Principles

The four things we hold ourselves to.

  • We can’t read your data.

Zero-knowledge encryption by default. If we wanted to peek, we’d have to compromise your device, not our database.

  • No dark patterns.

Cancellation is one click. Export is one click. Pricing is two tiers, on one page. We don’t bury anything we wouldn’t want buried from us.

  • The boring parts get written down.

Threat model, continuity plan, security pillars, audit chain — all published. If we ever fall short, you can hold us to a public document.

  • Quiet over loud.

We don’t want to be the product you use every day. We want to be the product you forget about for a year, then return to and find still here, still working, still calm.
